TRYOUTS SET FOR U-18 RAPTORS


The club will hold open tryouts for the U-18 Raptors team for any IYSA non signed players on Thursday December 4th from 8:30 till 10:00 p.m. and Thursday December 11th from 8:30 till 10:00 p.m.,  All tryouts will be at the All-Starz Sports Center, 7135 Clinton Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.

You can wear indoor or outdoor shoes (no screw ins).  Bring water, shin pads and a ball.

IMPORTANT - you may not tryout if you are currently signed with another club.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to each session to register.

Raptors/Dactyls named as Puma Premier Club

The Rockford Raptors / Dactyls have received the designation as a Puma Premier Club. They join an elite group of clubs from across the nation:

Sacramento United (Sacramento, Ca), Les Bois SC (Boise, ID), Southern California Blues (Costa Mesa, CA), Albion SC (San Diego, Ca), TSF Academy (Lincoln Park, NJ), Brooklyn Italians, (New York, NY), Charlotte United (Charlotte, NC) and Snohomish United (Snohomish, WA)


2009 PUMA Champions Cup Applications Now Available!

The 2009 PUMA Champions Cup is now offering Two Playing Weekends!

The First Weekend will be April 3rd, 4th & 5th.
The weekend is designed as a College Showcase Event for Ages U14 - U19 Boys & Girls Only.

The Second Weekend will be April 17th, 18th & 19th.
This weekend is solely for the younger ages. U8 - U13 Boys & Girls.

Both weekends wil offer all levels of Play, and will be hosted at two of the Midwest's best Soccer Complexes Sportscore 1 & 2.

There are also club Discounts for number of Teams Attending.
1-4 Teams - No Discount
5-10 Teams - $20 off Per Team.
11-15 Teams - $30 off Per team
16- 20 Teams - $40 Of Per Team
20 or More Please Contact us.

The Puma Champions Cup is the Midwest's largest single weekend tournament.  It is also the 2nd largest in the country!

In 2007, 600 teams from nine states and Canada competed in the Champions Cup.  We offer age groupings from U8 through U14 Boys & Girls & U15 through U19 Boys.

In 2009, the Champions Cup will take place in Rockford at the reknowned Sportscore Complexes over 2 weekends. April 3rd thru the 5th for Boy's and Girls's teams ages 14 and up, and April 17th thru 19th for Boy's and girls teams ages 13 and down.

Welcome to The Rockford Raptors/Dactyls Soccer Club

The Rockford Raptors/Dactyls Soccer Club is one of the premier soccer clubs in the Midwest. Head coach Frank Mateus as well as founder Louie Mateus are well known and respected across the US for their coaching ability.

The Raptors (boys) and Dactyls (girls) FC is one of the best travel clubs in the Midwest as well as the country. The club has won more than 225 tournaments in its 9 years of existence. We have had numerous teams in the state cup semifinals and finals. One team from the Raptors and Dactyls Club recently won the Midwest Regional Championship two years in a row, as well as, winning 2nd place in the U.S. Soccer's National Championship.

The Raptors and Dactyls FC have had over 150 guys and girls go on and play at the college level. We have more All-Conference, All-Sectional, and All-State players than any other local club.

The Raptors and Dactyls FC have also had more Olympic Development Players (ODP) than any other local club. Our club has produced several State Team, Regional Team and even National Team Players.
